Solent Composite Systems (SCS), which makes composite fire and blast protection solutions for the oil and gas industry, has moved into a new facility.

The new purpose built premises are located in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, UK, and will provide 1140m2 floor space. The facility will house the company’s administration, design, engineering, prototyping and manufacturing facilities.

‘This significant investment will allow SCS to consolidate all its operations under one roof and it gives it the capacity to further support its expansion and future growth plans, taking the business to a new level,’ the company said in a press release.

This project for new premises is being supported by HM Government’s Regional Growth fund.
