The National Composites Centre (NCC) says that six new companies have joined its SME Affiliate Scheme.
According to the center, B&M Longworth, Composite Braiding, INSPHERE, LMAT, SHD Composites and 2-DTech have all joined the scheme that gives small and medium-sized enterprises access to the NCC’s capabilities, expertise, training and networks.
‘We want to ensure that composite materials research and development is as accessible as possible for all organisations, and we’re delighted to have these six fantastic SMEs on board to take advantage of our new Affiliate Scheme,’ said Leah Rider, technology program manager. ‘The scheme, launched just a few months ago, allows SMEs to gain easy access to knowledge, training and networking events that will help them take full advantage of composites in their business.’
