Sicomin, which makes epoxy resin systems, has formed a distribution partnership with Aerontec, a South African composite materials supplier with head offices based in Cape Town. The arrangement is effective immediately and Sicomin products will be available throughout South Africa from July 2017.
Sicomin’s epoxy systems including the GreenPoxy bio range, clear, infusion, foaming and fire retardant products will be available and the company will initially target the boat building sectors.
‘We are confident Aerontec’s superb sales experience in the region combined with a prompt and reliable distribution service will appeal to many marine manufacturers,’ said Philippe Marcovich, Sicomin president.
To strengthen Sicomin’s presence in Southern Africa and overall expansion of their global network, both companies will participate in the South African Collaboration Incoming Trade Mission next week.
