The final purchase price is forecast to be in the range of €25 million.
With this transaction, SGL Group expands its production network for carbon fibre raw materials by adding a production site for precursor – the raw material for carbon fibre. Certain textile fibre production lines at the site will be converted into precursor lines and gradually expanded.
The facility will also continue to manufacture and sell acrylic fibres for special textile and technical applications.
