Scott Bader says that it will be showing its CrysticROOF range of cold-applied resin-based glass fiber reinforced (GRP) roofing systems at Ecobuild 2016, taking place from 8-10 March in London, UK.
The CrysticROOF product range was developed by Scott Bader specifically for manufacturing flat and pitched roofs, as an alternative to traditional flat roofing materials such as bitumen, felt and lead. All CrysticROOF products are fully compatible with standard, commonly used OSB3 boards, edge trims, fillets and flashings.
Visitors to the Scott Bader stand will be able to see a cutaway of a fabricated CrysticROOF GRP roof section and find out about the CrysticROOF ‘BBA Premier’ system. This system is approved by the BBA for flat roofing and includes a fire resistant (FR) and UV weather resistant isophthalic topcoat.
The CrysticROOF Premier system also meets BS476 Part 3 for all roof structures and shapes including: flat, valley and pitched roofs, walkways, roof-lights and balconies.
Scott Bader plans to extend the CrysticROOF range with a new CrysticROOF in a Box kit later in 2016, which will come in a box with full installation instructions and all the materials and application tools needed to cover a 12 m2 roof.
