Scott Bader offsets 2020 carbon emissions

Scott Bader says that it has officially offset its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions with the World Land Trust (WLT), a UK company that purchases and protects threatened land.

The company made a contribution of almost £55 K to the charity’s Carbon Balanced program to offset the equivalent of almost 9000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emitted in 2020.

The company’s Scope 1 emissions include all direct emissions from the activities of Scott Bader under its control, while Scope 2 indirect emissions come from electricity, steam, heating or cooling purchased and used by Scott Bader.

Scott Bader says that it has set a target of a 60% reduction in carbon emissions by 2025.
