Scott Bader says that has invested over €1.2million to expand production capacity for its range of adhesives, gelcoats and formulated products. The company reports that it has installed a new mixer which is now fully operational in its facility in Amiens, France.
According to Scott Bader, this latest strategic investment is in response to significant growth in customer demand for its products. This additional mixing capacity has increased production capacity by around 50% and is needed to cope with the continued growth in sales 2018 and beyond.
‘To meet the growing demand and continue to offer competitive lead times, this new state of the art mixer will be used to manufacture a wide range of Scott Bader products for a variety of industries such as marine, construction and wind energy,’ said Jonathan Stowell, global adhesives director.
