The price increase of €100€/tonne will be applied to all invoiced orders by 1 August 2011 at the latest, subject to existing customer contracts.
UK headquartered Scott Bader reports that this further price increase is in response to significant increases in the costs of key gel-coat and pigment related raw materials, especially titanium dioxide. Based on recent forecasts, Scott Bader is expecting raw material prices to remain at these high levels for the foreseeable future, due to ongoing global supply shortages and strong demand.
The company warns that further prices may be necessary.
