Scott Bader Europe increases prices of all Crystic® products

The price increase of €150/ tonne will be applied to all invoiced orders from 15 April 2010 onwards.

Scott Bader states that this further price rise is being implemented in response to the continuing sharp increase in the prices of key raw materials, such as styrene, which have risen during the first quarter and are continuing to increase through second quarter.

Malcolm Forsyth, European Commercial Director of the Composites division of Scott Bader says: “Scott Bader has been fighting hard in recent months to push back and absorb the impact of these substantial raw material cost rises. As these increases show no signs of stopping, regrettably we must now pass on some of these extra raw material costs to our customers in order to maintain sustainable operating margins.”

Scott Bader is headquartered in the UK and has manufacturing facilities in the UK, France, Croatia, the Middle East and South Africa.
