Laramie, Wyoming, based Firehole says its Helius:MCT software enables the design of composite structures without the numerous expensive testing cycles traditionally deployed, allowing for a faster time-to-market and more reliable designs. Helius:MCT is an add-on for commercial CAE packages that delivers multi-scale modelling capability for unidirectional and woven fibre reinforced composite materials.
In addition to distributing the Helius product line, Firehole and Saratech plan a joint development of Firehole’s Helius:MCT for Siemens’ FEMAP® pre- and post-processor for computer aided engineering (CAE).
