Resin transfer molding (RTM) specialist Composite Integration says that it has become an official member of the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space (ADS) Group, a UK company that represents aerospace in the UK.

ADS reportedly supports more than 1,100 UK businesses operating in these sectors, which employ 374,000 people, generating £46 billion of exports annually, according to the company.

Composite Integration, based in Cornwall, plans to invest in process development to better understand the material behaviours and processing parameters suitable in aerospace applications.

The company is already pursuing three multi-year UKRI funded collaborative research programs with project values exceeding £10 million.
