RheTech establishes thermoplastics compounding facility in South Carolina

RheTech Engineered Plastics is expected to be fully operational by 1 June 2011. 20 new operational positions will be created over the next 12 months as machinery is set up and made operational.

“We are pleased to locate our new facility in South Carolina,” says Evan DeWulf, president of RheTech Engineered Plastics. “This new facility will not only support our existing operations, but allow us better access to automotive, consumer, electrical and clean energy markets throughout the Southeastern US."

RheTech plans to expand both geographically and with its product range, reports John Levinson, president of RheTech Inc.

“We expect to see significant growth in engineering materials and we plan to be a leading supplier to the industries we are targeting with our offering," Levinson says. "The establishment of our facility in Blacksburg is an important step in helping us reach our goals.”

RheTech Inc, headquartered in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA, is a producer of filled and reinforced polypropylenes and colour concentrates and additives for the automotive, truck, electronics, construction, and consumer markets.
