Composites One has opened registration for ‘By Air, By Land, By Sea: Composites Get You There’, a workshop presented by the company and the Closed Mold Alliance, in partnership with IACMI–The Composites Institute.

The workshop will take place from 11-12 June 2019, in Plainview, NY, USA and will feature demonstrations and presentations about the composites processes and products used to build production parts for the automotive, aerospace, wind energy, and marine industries.

Projects covered will include the materials used to make the hardtop for a boat, a marine console manufactured using the light resin transfer molding (RTM) process, technology from Solvay used to employed to build tooling for an aerospace part, carbon fiber producing composites tooling for spacecraft manufacturer SpaceX and an automotive part built from reinforced thermoplastics.
