TUFROV glass fibre is designed for the automotive industry and other applications requiring a high-performance LFT product.
According to PPG, TUFROV 4575 glass fibre has demonstrated 20% higher tensile strength and 40% better impact performance over current LFT products. It achieves maximum adhesion with polypropylene (PP) resins and offers improved hydrolytic stability.
“Customers are experiencing improved throughput and physical properties using this new PPG product,” says Curt Thielker, PPG global market manager, LFT. “In numerous applications, the new TUFROV fibre glass has demonstrated excellent surface characteristics in 'show surfaces' because of its exceptional glass dispersion."
