Poliya is a supplier of speciality composite resins headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
Cam Elyaf, part of Turkey's Sisecam Group, produces glass fibre products and resins for the composites industry.
With the acquisition of Cam Elyaf's resins business, Poliya expands its range of composites products and achieves a capacity of 65 000 tons per year – the largest capacity in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, according to Poliya.
The new Poliya business group will a leading bulk resin provider, with the ability to serve the pipe, wind energy and transportation sectors among others.
