The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) has awarded Molded Fiber Glass Companies’ CEO Richard Morrison with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Lifetime Achievement award distinguishes individuals who have been involved in the composites industry for at least 20 years and have made a significant and lasting contribution. The award was presented on 4 February during the ACMA's COMPOSITES 2011 Convention and Exhibition in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Morrison began his composites career in 1968 as a production manager for the Molded Fiber Glass Boat Company. In 1970, he was promoted to president and general manager. In 1979, he was assigned to the Molded Fiber Glass Tray Company, serving as its president and general manager. Since 1987, he has served as president and CEO of the Molded Fiber Glass Companies. He was on the ACMA board of directors from 2003-2007, as president from 2003-2005. In 2009 he received the ACMA’s President’s award.
