The grant program has been designed specifically for wave energy projects in the state of Oregon, and offers two funding possibilities - commercial scale project development grants and feasibility study grants for wave energy.
“It is our hope that this program will assist developers in getting projects in the water off the Oregon Coast,” says Oregon Wave Energy Trust Executive Director, Jason Busch.
Of the US$500,000 wave energy grant, US$300,000 is designated for commercial scale projects and up to US$200,000 is designated for feasibility studies.
