Magnum Venus Plastech distributor for India, MVP-India, hosted the training at its facility in Mumbai.
The purpose of this course, conducted by Charles Tur, RTM/Infusion Technical Specialist for MVP, is to provide customers which are considering the move to closed mould technology with the tools and training they need to make the changeover successful.
The three-day training course includes classroom lectures on the technology and techniques behind the process and the costs and benefits of using Light RTM. It then moves to hands-on training from tooling the mould and counter mould, to injection of a finished part.
Since its introduction two years ago, the MVP Light RTM training course has been conducted in a number of countries, including Germany, Australia, South Africa, Spain, and now India.
