Bristol, UK-based Matrix Composites has been appointed by Armacell Benelux SA as its UK distributor of ArmaFORM PET core.
ArmaFORM was the first commercially available PET core for structural composite and has been used extensively in wind energy, as well as in the transport, marine & construction industries.
The structural core is recyclable and made out of 100% recycled materials – post-consumer PET plastic bottle waste. The cores have DNV-GL approval, and are available in a range of densities and thicknesses, as well as in a range of finishing options such as grid-scoring, contouring and pin-holing. There are also fire retardant versions available.
ArmaFORM PET offers high structural strength at low weight, improved fatigue resistance, and good temperature stability.
