Markforged has appointed John Howard as its new VP of engineering.
Howard has more than 30 years of experience in engineering and product design, including 10 years at Lab126, Amazon’s development group for the Kindle eReader, Fire TV and Echo products. He also managed PowerBook product design at Apple for a decade, and also held senior development and engineering positions at medical device companies, including Intuity Medical and Nektar Therapeutic. Since 1989, Howard has been a consulting associate professor in mechanical design at Stanford University.
