These components included the wing assembly, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, wing fuel access panels, main landing gear doors and several closeout panels.

The Textron AirLand Scorpion ISR/Strike Aircraft program and prototype aircraft were unveiled at the Air Force Association Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition in National Harbor, Maryland, recently. The first flight is anticipated to occur before the end of the year. The aircraft was developed by a joint venture between Textron Inc. and AirLand Enterprises, LLC. The Scorpion is a versatile Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)/Strike aircraft platform.
