Jushi USA to increase prices of glass fibre reinforcements

Jushi USA, headquartered in California, is part of Jushi Group, China, one of the world’s largest producers of glass fibre reinforcements.

Jushi says that recent increases in chemical raw materials, energy cost, transportation and labour costs have all been contributory factors to the price increase. According to the company, price increases are necessary to meet the rising costs and allow further needed investment in additional manufacturing capacity.

Jushi adds that during the past few years the composites industry has faced a number of factors that have resulted in rising costs to produce glass fibre. The company says that it has made substantial investments in additional capacity, rebuilding furnaces and improving production efficiency. These changes are designed to offset some of these cost increases.
