HYBRID Expo 2013 will highlight multi-material solutions – from materials research to processing procedures, machines and tools, through to the finished component. Companies including AdduXi, Evonik, Härter Stanztechnik, Kläger Spritzguss, Leicht and Müller and Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik have signed up to participate in this event.
The focus of HYBRID Expo will be the subject of process acceleration in the manufacture of metal-plastic components. Plastic injection moulding, metal punching, and forming and joining technologies will play a central role in this.
“With HYBRID Expo, we address all those branches of industry that use hybrid components," explains HYBRID Expo Event Director Markus Jessberger of Reed Exhibitions.
"In addition to and beyond the electrical engineering sector, these are primarily automotive construction and the white goods segment.”
HYBRID Expo will take place on 17-19 September in Stuttgart, at the same time as COMPOSITES EUROPE 2013. Visitors to COMPOSITES EUROPE will also have free entry to HYRBID Expo.
