“The acquisition of PromaPlast is an exciting step into a major new market for IMCD México and further expands our capabilities in the US,” said Olivier Champault, business group director.
PromaPlast, based in Lerma, Mexico was founded in 1996. It supplies resins and compounds for the packaging, footwear, consumer goods, home appliances, automotive and other industrial markets. It also distributes additive masterbatches, according to IMCD. The business comprises six sales offices and 109 employees.
