Mantide is a one-off supercar from Italian firm Stile Bertone and designed by Jason Castriota.
The carbon fibre composite bodywork is said to reduce drag and increase downforce and contribute to a 100 kg (220 lb) weight reduction over the Corvette ZR1.
Powered by the ZR1's 6.3 litre supercharged V8 engine, the Mantide has a top speed of 251 km/h (217 mph) and accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds.
Stile Bertone is considering putting the model into production following interest from potential customers from around the world. It could cost around US$2 million (£1.3 million) to buy. Jason Castriota believes up to 10 of the cars could be built.
