Lockheed Martin Rotors and Mission Systems (Sikorsky) has awarded Hexcel’s Salt Lake City, USA facility a prize for its product quality and delivery performance.
This award for performance in 2017 was presented to nine companies. Hexcel was selected for this award by leadership at Sikorsky.
Hexcel supplies carbon fiber, matrix, core and dynamic components including main rotorcraft blades, blade spars, skins, skins–to-cores, tip caps, tip skins, cuff spacers, and flex beams for Sikorsky rotorcraft platforms.
Sikorsky supplies to the rotorcraft market and is known for its UH60 Black Hawk, SH60 Seahawk, CH-53K King Stallion, the S76D Commercial and the new VH60N US presidential rotorcraft.
