Hexagon Composites awarded new major order in Iraq

Hexagon Composites' subsidiary Hexagon Ragasco has received a new major order for LPG cylinders from Gas Filling Company (GFC) at a total value of around US$15 million (approximately NOK120 million). Deliveries are scheduled to commence in fourth quarter of 2017 and continue through first quarter of 2018. With this order, Iraq is expanding its already large fleet of composite LPG cylinders for the domestic market, the company said. ‘The Middle East is an important market for us,’ said Skjalg S Stavheim, managing director. ‘The region continues to invest in lightweight composite cylinders that will help to make domestic use of LPG safer and more user-friendly.’
