Hampson to showcase advanced composite structures at Aviation Expo / China 2011

Hampson will display its products for both commercial and military aircraft and engine components at the civil and military aviation exhibition in Beijing.

Hampson Aerospace Aerostructures & Composites includes the following:

  • Composites Horizons (CHI), based in California, USA, a producer of advanced composite products; and
  • Texstars, based in Texas, USA, a manufacturer of products that utilise composite and thermoplastic materials in support of the aerospace, military vehicle, and mass transit markets.

Composites structures and transparencies manufactured by Hampson have played a part important aerospace programmes such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, JSF, and Airbus A350. Companies including Lockheed Martin, Airbus, Boeing, GE Aviation, Pratt & Whitney and Honeywell turbine engines use Hampson's composites and transparencies.

Hampson Aerospace also provides tooling systems for the aerospace sector.
