Gurit confirms acquisition of Suzhou Red Maple

Swiss composite materials company Gurit has acquired Suzhou Red Maple, a manufacturer of moulds for wind turbine blades based in Taicang, Jiangsu, China, to strengthen its position in the wind energy market in Asia.

With this acquisition, China becomes Gurit’s largest manufacturing base worldwide, with over 800 people employed in Taicang, Tianjin, and Quingdao.
