Gurit has decided to streamline its B³ SmartPac operations in Bristol, Rhode Island, and toll produce all North American B³ SmartPac kits in conjunction with Mahogany Company of Mays Landing, New Jersey, USA. Gurit USA’s sales, customer support and structural engineering teams will continue to operate from the Bristol, Rhode Island, office. “Our agreement with Mahogany will bring together Gurit's vast materials and design capabilities with the wealth of kitting experience of Mahogany which will benefit our customers in terms of service and product offering,” says Lance Hill, Gurit’s Regional Sales Director, America’s. Gurit’s B³ SmartPac helps boat builders manufacture composite components more efficiently and cost-effectively. It comprises optimised structural design with pre-cut reinforcements and core materials, designed to reduce complexity and cost in production boat building.
