GMS Composites says that it has recently appointed Lawrence Kok, who joins the company in the newly created role of Regional Manager-South East Asia, covering: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Mr Kok, who will be based in Kuala Lumpur, is a chemistry graduate with over 20 years technical sales and business development experience in the region; he is fluent in English, Malay, Indonesian, Cantonese and Mandarin. His appointment is part of an ongoing international growth strategy by GMS Composites, targeting key regions where it sees a growing demand for high performance composites in niche markets which use prepreg materials, such as aerospace and defence, automotive, motorsports, and high end sporting goods.
