Final program announced for SpaceAM

The final program has been released for SpaceAM, taking place in Leicester, UK from 14-15 September 2021. 

Session subjects include:

  • advanced materials and composites for the space sector 
  • design and optimisation 
  • the space sector supply chain 
  • space vehicle and satellite structures 
  • additive manufacturing.

The line-up includes presentations from the European Space Agency (ESA), Oxford Space Systems, Skyrora, WAAM3D and Airborne. 

‘We are entering a new era in space exploration which is set to not only propel humanity into the cosmos but transform life on Earth,’ said conference chair, space journalist Sarah Curddas. ‘Advanced materials and new ways of manufacturing hold the key to enabling us to tackle the many hurdles we face in exploring  space and open up the growing space economy.’
