NidaFusion SXO uses a triangulated fibreglass pin truss system within the foam structure to mechanically link the skins in the sandwich structure. The core material is designed for composite sandwich structure applications in the wind energy, marine, architectural and transportation industries.

Nida-Core, a manufacturer of structural core materials based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA, says that NidaFusion SXO is the first fibre reinforced core to achieve type approval by DNV.

NidaFusion SXO is manufactured in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Aniche, France, and both facilities received a corresponding certificate of approval.
