Expansion for Scigrip Europe

Scigrip, a global supplier of adhesives, has expanded its sales team and appointed Polish distributors Milar Spzoo.

Milar is a subsidiary of German-owned Biesterfeld Group and possesses over 25 years of experience in the distribution of chemicals, Scigrip says.

The company has expanded its sales force with the promotion of Tim Johnson to European sales and marketing manager and appointment of Chris Coll as business development manager. Coll joins Scigrip from Ashland and has considerable experience with structural adhesives in the automotive, transport and construction markets. He will be responsible for sales within the UK and strategic regions around Europe.

Scigrip has also completed a site upgrade at its Washington, Newcastle, UK facility to prepare for a ramp up in production of a number of specialised adhesives later this year. This will reportedly facilitate large scale production in greater volumes and could dramatically reduce lead times for European customers.

‘These latest advancements are part of a broader vision to drive our sales presence within Central and Eastern Europe,’ said Johnson.
