Exel Composites has appointed Steve Cook as its United Kingdom and Ireland regional sales manager. Cook previously held roles with US glass composite manufacturer Owens Corning and metal powder manufacturer, Carpenter Additive. He has managed activities in regions including Scandinavia, Spain and Benelux for multinational organizations, Exel said. ‘Composites are gaining traction across industry, but what they can be used to manufacture is little understood,’ said Cook. ‘Although I have experience in the composites industry, I’m still astounded by the range of novel applications that the team is developing at Exel.’
