Energetx Composites to manufacture wind turbine components

The company, based in Holland, Michigan, USA, plans to design, engineer and manufacture wind turbine blades, nacelles and spinners for use in large-scale wind turbines. This follows the State of Michigan’s approval of a 15 year MEGA (Michigan Economic Growth Authority Tax Credit) beginning fiscal year ending 31 December 2010.

“Energetx Composites is uniquely positioned to provide precision engineering and world class manufacturing capacity in an optimal geographic location to effectively supply advanced composites for the growing wind energy industry in Michigan, the Great Lakes and internationally,” according to Energetx Composites Principal, David Slikkers.

“Capital investment is already starting and we anticipate rigorous employee selection and training activity as the wind energy industry requires; likely to start later in 2009," he continues.

Energetx Composites is headquartered in Holland, Michigan, USA. The company provides manufacturing solutions for composite fabrication including engineering, design, tooling, process development, technology and manufacturing assembly.
