ELG Carbon Fibre, a supplier of recycled carbon fiber products, has achieved AS/EN9100 quality management system certification from Bureau Veritas for its recovery of carbon fiber from manufacturing waste and end of life products and manufacture of recycled carbon fiber materials and products.
The AS/EN9100 standard is designed to meet the demands of the aviation and aerospace industry. It aims to provide a harmonised global standard for all manufacturers.
‘Achieving this certification is a significant milestone in terms of our ongoing expansion,’ said Frazer Barnes, managing director of ELG Carbon Fibre.
ELG Carbon Fibre delivered more than 600 tonnes of recycled carbon fiber products to the market during 2015.
