CIMComp is a group of universities funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to improve polymer matrix composite production.
The free event will include presentations about composite projects carried out by the researchers, as well as poster presentations by current PhD students.
Dr Stu Morris, engineering director at composite tooling company Pentaxia will host sessions on subjects such as recycling and sustainability, additive and compression molding, and out of autoclave processing.
The day will also include a young engineers competition, in which students can compete in a design and manufacturing competition that will be judged on the day.
