Cytec promotes new supply chain at SAMPE

Cytec Industries Inc is showcasing its technology and supply chain developments for automotive and tooling applications at SAMPE Baltimore in May.

Cytec will promote the advances it and its supply chain partners have made towards enabling high rate CFRP parts manufacture for serial automotive applications in automation, rapid-cure prepreg and HP-RTM, press-molding and industrial textiles.

‘We are working with the automotive supply chain to develop materials, processes and application engineering to increase the affordability of continuous fiber composites for high volume production,’ said Glade Gunther, USA-based business development manager for Cytec.

Cytec wil alsol promote its DForm fabric tooling prepreg which has short fiber conformability with the handling and laminate characteristics of a conventional long fiber composite.
