The CRP Group, which makes Windform materials for additive manufacturing carbon fiber parts, has celebrated its 45th anniversary, including 20 years of additive manufacturing.

Founded in 1970 by Roberto Cevolini as a company for CNC machining in the motorsport sector, the company has evolved over the past four decades to form the six companies (CRP Meccanica, CRP Technology, CRP USA, CRP Service, CRP Engineering and Energica Motor Company) making up the current business group.

Besides the development of Windform, the company has been involved in outgas tests for use in space, patch testing for the medical sector, fashion and design and testing of non-conductivity and expanding the use of materials for additive manufacturing.

Windform XT carbon filled polymer is also celebrating its 10 years anniversary. The material is suitable for tough applications such as motorsport and space.
