Composites UK runs new bioresins event

Composites UK, has announced its next biocomposites sub-group event entitled Bioresins: Current Research and Developments.

The event will be hosted by Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) in its International Digital Laboratory (IDL) Auditorium on 2 July and is open to all of those in the composites industry with an interest in biocomposites.

The sub-group aims to advance the development and commercialisation of natural composite materials by encouraging an integrated approach in the supply chain. By engaging academia, industry, the market and government it is expected that many of the current barriers to the wider adoption of these materials will be overcome.

Jaguar Land Rover will be joining WMG, NetComposites, AEP Polymers, AIMPLAS and the University of Southampton as speakers at the event, and will cover the role of bio-resins in automotive structures.
