Composites UK, the trade association for the UK composites supply chain, has released info about its upcoming events in April. The first is the 2018 Annual Conference which takes place on 18 April 2018 at AMRC in Rotherham, UK. The program is split into four sessions covering securing the future of the UK composites industry, progress in delivering the UK Composites Strategy, building the infrastructure to support a UK supply chain and finally a case study session from companies at the forefront of composites manufacturing innovations. Speakers include BEIS, British Standards Institute, Composite Integration, the Department for Exiting the EU, ESI UK, FDM Digital Solutions, Lucintel, National Composites Centre and R-Tech Materials. The following day sees the separate Aerospace Sector Showcase (19 April) in the same location which will include presentations from ATI, GKN Aerospace Airbus and Spirit AeroSystems, Material and process development is covered in the final session with the National Composites Centre, Attwater Group, Pentaxia and TenCate Advanced Composites delivering case studies on research and partnership opportunities.
