Composites UK continues 20% year on year growth

Composites UK, the Trade Association for the UK composites supply chain, reports that it has surpassed its 250 member company mark with 20% year-on-year growth.

The association says that it has gained both OEM and SME member companies and has a 96% retention rate of current members.

‘Composites UK is fantastic foundation for learning about best practice and changes moving forward in the industry,’ said Liam Kelly, managing director at new member company IG Elements. ‘IG Elements are proud to be a glass-reinforced fiber composites manufacturer and it is vital that there is a hub that we can feel confident of in the sector. We aim to grow and participate in the increasingly competitive world of global composite production and strongly believe that Composites UK will aid us in achieving this.’

Tufcot Engineering is another new member of  Composites UK events. ‘We are very pleased with the services Composites UK has provided so far,’ said Greg Majchrzak, Tufcot’s MD. ‘Membership allows us to keep in touch with the composites industry whilst effectively displaying our capabilities in the manufacture and engineering of composite materials via the Hub.’
