The Composites Europe show, taking place from 6 to 8 November 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, will include information about mechanical composite joining technologies, such as crimping, gluing, riveting or screwing.
Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the event, say that each process has its advantages and disadvantages. During riveting, for example, fiber layers can be damaged by delamination during the pilot drilling.
