Composites UK, the trade association for the UK composites supply chain, will be taking the final of its regional roadshows for 2017 to London, covering the South East area. The event, held in partnership with the National Composites Centre, will take place on 12 December at Queen Mary University of London. These regional events showcase the financial and business services available for composite companies in each place and includes case studies from companies. This particular event will include a keynote speech from Robert Dean, principal engineer (structures) at Network Rail. Topics covered include:
- Service and support for London and the South East – Department for International Trade
- R&D tax credits and the Patent Box – Claiming what you are due – GovGrant
- Support from the Business Growth Hub – UK Export Finance
- The SME Support Program – National Composites Centre
