Composite Integration, which specialises in resin transfer moulding (RTM) manufacturing solutions, won both the Business Innovation of the Year Award and the Winner of Winners Award – Business of the Year. The company is based in Saltash, Cornwall, UK.
The innovation prize was awarded for the development of specific technology for the resin infusion industry. This work has centred on the development of the Ciject range of meter-mixing equipment to supply resin directly into large-scale composite infusion processes. The judges also looked at the overall management and performance of the company, its growth and export figures.
The Cornwall Business Awards are organised and presented by Cornwall Development Company in partnership with The South West of England Regional Development Agency and Business Link.
