NetComposites has published the conference program of composites in construction show CompIC 2017.
Taking place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 31 January– 1 February 2017, rhe conference will look at the current and future use of composites in construction and the benefits they provide to the construction industry. CompIC will also include sessions on design and analysis, materials and structures, testing, and applications, together with an array of case studies. Keynote presentations will be delivered by Andrew Mafeld of Connectra Global entitled ‘The Future of Building – The Growing Use of Composites in Construction’ and Architecture and from David Kendall of Optima Projects.
Other speakers will come from architects UNStudio and Lemercier-Bona plus Witteveen+Bos, Atkins Global, Gurit Composite Components and Construction Composites. ‘Following the success of CompIC 2015, we're really looking forward to CompIC 2017,’ said Gemma Smith, marketing and communications manager at NetComposites. ‘A number of projects were born from the last conference and its attendees working together and we hope we can further this through the 2017 edition. We need to help raise awareness of composites and their advantages with respect to more traditional materials.’
