Cobra International Co Ltd, which makes composite components for the watersports, automotive, marine and luxury markets, has launched a new business unit for the manufacture of large composite structures for the architectural and mass transport industries.
The new Cobra Composite Structures business unit will make large structural composite parts such as roofs, facades, bridges and large vehicle components for rail, bus and truck applications and operate at COBRA’s 100,000m2 facilities in Thailand.
Cobra holds both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 (Automotive) certification and has recently invested in research into fire resistant composites and sustainable materials, the company says.
COBRA Composite Structures is already working on a number of orders including the components for a vehicle project to support airport ground operations as well as light bridging solutions.
