Cobra International Co Ltd, a Thai manufacturer of composite water sports products, is celebrating its 40th year of business.
One of the company’s first successes was the King Cobra, a surf board that could plane quickly in the stronger breezes, but also perform well in lighter winds by combining semi-displacement forward sections with a tri-plane planning surface in the tail. It is made of an epoxy sandwich construction with hard PVC foam over an expanded polystyrene (EPS) core and weighs 35lbs (<16kg).
