Ceramic 3D printing partnership

Zortrax and AM Centre of Intelligence (AM-COE), a UK company specializing in the production of advanced resins, have joined forces to develop a 3D printer designed for ceramic resins.

Plans are for Zortrax to manufacture the machine and AM-COE to produce the resin materials, the companies said.

According to Ehsan Sabet, CEO of AM-COE, the printer will be open-source with free software to help researchers develop ceramic printing processes.
